Other Writing Projects
Here are some other amazing writing projects I've been a part of!
Published by: The Regal Fox
Date: March 14, 2018
The Regal Fox, a relatively new online magazine, published my flash fiction piece called The Curse. The story fits with their magazine quite well, and I was honored to be chosen by their editors! They even published the photo I included with the submission, too, which was pretty cool.
Check out The Curse today, and stick around to read more of their content, too. (They have stories of all kinds and author interviews.)
A Desert Welcome - Prompt Plot 2017 Holiday Gift
In honor of the holidays I decided to write a free short story based on prompts my lovely readers picked for me.
I wrote a short story called A Desert Welcome, and it was such a fun process that I'm probably going to make it an annual event! Click on the title below to read a PDF copy of the story.
I hope you enjoy the read, and be sure to check out my books, too!
BOB Press November 2016 Quest Zine Mission 20

Arri is an AI on the battleship, Warrior. Under the command of the Nyxian Empire, the Warrior—and by extension, Arri—has been tasked with the retrieval of goods from surrounding planets, by any means necessary. A task which Arri diligently carries out, until she realizes that sometimes the ends do not justify the means.
Fall of 2017 Update: It's with great sadness to announce that BOB Press disbanded, so the only way to get copies of this zine and story is through me. Contact me to see if there are any copies left!

A 300-word story should be easy, right? Many of our entrants say it’s the hardest thing they’ve ever written. Queer Sci Fi's Annual Flash Fiction Contest challenges authors to write a complete LGBTQ speculative fiction micro-story on a specific theme. "Flight" leaves much for the authors to interpret—winged creatures, flight and space vehicles, or fleeing from dire circumstances. Some astonishing stories were submitted—from horrific, bloodcurdling pieces to sweet, contemplative ones—and all LGBTQ speculative fiction. The stories in this anthology include AI’s and angels, winged lions, and wayward aliens. Smart, snappy slice of life pieces written for entertainment or for social commentary. Join us for brief and often surprising trips into 110 speculative fiction authors’ minds.
